External server works.

Server dry again, no work for a few days. Hopefully some more units are on the horizon.

Server is dry because of hard drive failure. They are still awaiting replacement to arrive to reconstitute the server.

Any news on when the server hard drive is going to be procured and installed?

So one hard drive failure takes down the whole project! Anyone heard of redundancy?

Now is avaible for test and include the same kind of jobs as 6_Gaia@home with the same credits points.

I hit reset before uploading results by accident so these wont time out for 10 days or can they be cancelled.

From a response I got from one of Spacious@home admins/representatives via the contact form, (he/she) Toni stated that Gaia was one of their "previous initiatives" inferring that Gaia is finished and work/research moving to the Spacious@home project.

Well that's nice. Why don't they put that announcement out across BOINC for everyone to see??
I can't help but wonder if Spacious will go the same way??

7_Gaia is a new project thanks to the addition of a group of scientists involved in statistical studies of the effect of the shift in the brightness photocenter relative to the center of mass of asteroids.
This impacts the determination of asteroid orbits from observations and the determination of the Yarkovsky effect.
Statistically, this means a lot of work to be done.
The acquisition of this team enables the continued operation of the Gaia@home service for research with your participation, independent of the development of the spacios@home project. I hope we will continue to provide work in the coming months.

can you provide the source code for this application? or build an aarch64 version?

i can probably build it for aarch64 if you do not have such capability.
