This may not be the answer people are hoping for, but I do have a Win 10 machine running virtualbox .org with a linux mint 64 bit iso and finally Gaia running on BOINC. It was a little convoluted to get running, but if you're compter handy you'll get it. I just save the vmachine state to disk at the end of the day when I power down and it picks up in the morning. It is true the project will not support Boinc based in Windows. You would have to create a virtual machine and run Linux. I can only speculate, since there is very little communication from the project leader(s), that they process as many work units as fast as they can produce them. The current server page shows 7000 ready to send, and 1925 in progress. It takes < 3 hours to complete a task, so they can complete the backlog in 1/2 a day ish. Development of a Windows/Boinc isn't necessary for the project. Developing a higher project feeder might be a priority or they may be happy with the processing rate they have, or they may not have the staff to do anymore.
