gaia@home will not work with boinc 8.2.14. Go back to 8.2.13. 8.2.15 not tested so far. |

My tasks come to standstill with "Waiting for swap space" all of a sudden. My distro made me update to 8.2.15: same behaviour

My tasks come to standstill with "Waiting for swap space" all of a sudden. This happened at Einstein too because the tasks used too much back and forth data transfers and the ram couldn't keep up. The idea is not MORE ram but IS FASTER ram. We solved it by running fewer tasks at one time, but you like us probably are running multiple tasks which will be 'suspended but kept in memory' so until every running AND partly run suspended tasks the problem will continue. |
